SYTERA FIELD

For more than 20 years, Sytera has helped thousands of students, from elite athletes to desk-job workers, realize the life-changing physical and mental benefits of healthy movement. A biomechanics expert with a Harvard certification in anatomy, Sytera also trains massage therapists, yoga teachers, physical therapists, chiropractors, and personal trainers — empowering them with practical, science-based tools to help their own clients thrive.
After healing from a traumatic leg injury in her teens, Sytera dedicated her career to helping people feel clear, energized, and engaged in life rather than depleted by it. She developed the Nadi Ball Method® for stress reduction, pain relief, and increased mobility. This innovative method integrates massage balls into movement, stretching, and strengthening. As Northern Virginia Magazine explained in a 2020 feature, “The balls work into the fascia lines, creating openness and encouraging correct alignment, and students can feel how sensations are connected throughout the body.”
Through Sytera’s easy-to-access instruction, students begin to understand where they hold stress and tension—and because they can feel the difference immediately, they often describe the method as “magic.” Sytera’s highly individualized approach analyzes each person’s movement and postural patterns to help them achieve unrestricted movement. Her philosophy: the key to sustainable well-being is to challenge your body to stretch toward your goals without overwhelming your system—you bend, but don’t break.

Sytera’s uplifting, creative spirit has earned her a loyal following among both individuals and corporate clients, including Mars Inc., the Discovery Channel, PartnerMD, and Share Our Strength.
